Anonymous asked: Ever get to that point in life where everything just went wrong and you just about lose everything you have? then think fuck it do i just give up altogether? Make or Break?
Yes. I had that exact moment almost 2 years ago. I was working a “good” studio job. I had a salary check and benefits. I also had a commute that killed me everyday and realized I was working for something that didn’t make me happy. I had a falling out with my boss and got fired. At that point I was done stressing and worrying. I realized photography made me happy. I was months behind on my mortgage,my bills, etc. and I was done killing my body with worries. I realized nothing is forever. So with not being married or having kids I realized if I wanted to go for it now was the time. I didn’t want to run out and get another job just because it is what you are supposed to do. When people would call looking for money to collect for bills rather then stress I would just tell them I don’t have anything right now but when I do you guys will get paid.I felt a lot like that guy from Office Space… I just stopped caring about that shit. I took it upon myself to hustle and follow what I love. It was definitely a gamble and I threw everything into the wind but fuck that is what makes being human exciting. If every moment in your lifetime was guaranteed or a sure thing…how boring would that be? I say to anyone in a make or break situation in life…. go for it. If you don’t have big pending responsibilities like a family to support then do it while you can because nothing is forever.
